【Description】

The Explorer was developed for explorers who wanted to explore unexplored places.

The Explorer I was introduced in 1953 and was characterized by a very simple design with 3/6/9 Arabic numerals and no date display.

The very famous vintage model, Ref.1016, went through a major design change from there. Many of you may have seen the practical model of Ref.14270.

This Ref.114270 is an update with minor changes from Ref.14270 It is a model and was produced from 2001 to 2010.

It is very fine, but the numerals on the indices and dial have been slightly thinned for a more refined look.

It also has a laser-engraved crown mark at 6 o’clock on the windshield.

Practical improvements have also been made to the movement and the robustness of the flush-fit.

The small size of the case, 36mm, is small enough for a sports model and easy to match with any outfit.

It is also suitable for daily use as it is thin and very light, weighing only about 100g including the bracelet.

This model has a black dial and was made in 2002, so the luminous paint on the dial and hands is Luminova.

The indication at 6 o’clock on the dial is “SWISS MADE”.

The movement on board is Cal.3135.

It is characterized by the fact that only the short hand can be operated and the bridge that supports the balance has been changed to twin for more stability.

The Oyster bracelet has 13 links. There is not much stretch.
