Cold weather: The Matrice 4 Series Intelligent Flight Battery does not support low-temperature charging. Charge between 5 °C and 40 °C (41 °F to 104 °F). In cold-weather operations, keep packs indoors or in a warmed case before charging, and let them stabilize toward room temperature before connecting them to the hub. Discharge (in-flight use) is rated for the airframe's full operating temperature range of −10 °C to 40 °C (14 °F to 104 °F).

Travel and shipping: At 99.5 Wh, the Matrice 4 Series battery sits just under the FAA / IATA 100 Wh threshold for spare lithium batteries in passenger carry-on. Airlines treat sub-100 Wh packs as standard carry-on items, typically allowing up to 20 spares per passenger without special approval. Spare lithium batteries are not permitted in checked baggage.
