This is a bare bones DIY weld it yourself rear bumper kit that fits all FJ Cruisers. This kit will ship to you in pieces and you will have to weld it together, making it much cheaper and shorter lead time. It has the highest ground clearance and lightest weight of any FJ bumper on the market. It is designed for the average person with a welder to install. Plan a full weekend for the installation.

Shipped weight is 100 lbs. But keep in mind you are removing about 50 lbs of stock crossmember, receiver hitch, and plastic. So overall weight gain is only about 50 lbs.

- Gains 6" of ground clearance from the stock receiver hitch. 

- Improves departure angle at the main bumper crossmember by 6 degrees! (not even including the receiver hitch gains)

- Bumper sticks out 1.5" shorter overall.

- Can still fit a 35" tire after modifying the stock carrier by drilling 4 new holes in it.

- No swingout options offered.

- Not compatible with OE backup sensors, (could possibly be modified to work)

- I will not rate the strength of the receiver hitch nor will I give advice on how much weight to pull with it. Since you are welding it yourself you are assuming the risk.

- You have to completely cut out the stock rear frame crossmember (in order to have the highest clearance of any other bumper)
