Konami's Top Gunner as it was known in North America, was also distributed under the title of Jackal in Europe and Japan.

The genuine Konami version of the game is a small JAMMA board with three large custom Konami ASICs. The bootleg however is a completely redesigned, much larger board that uses standard off the shelf ICs.

What's more interesting about this board, is that the bootleggers decided to use a completely different pinout, and some versions even retain the original rotary controls which were scrapped in the final release of Konami's game.

This adapter works only with the bootleg version of Top Gunner. The genuine Konami version is already JAMMA.
