2018-2023 SUBARU CROSSTREK | Smoke Tint Tail Light Overlay - (Covers all Clear Parts of Tail Lights)

These accent overlays are constructed from high quality premium cast tint vinyl, and is designed to last several years. As always with all Premium vinyls they are designed and produced right here in house and then tested out on our very own cars first to ensure a perfect fit every time. If you are looking for an inexpensive styling modification, or you just want to change up the factory look, it's a great idea to checkout these overlays.

QUICK INSTALL GUIDE: Getting the vinyl installed on your car is very easy and requires just a few tools - A felt edge squeegee will help but is not required and a spray bottle with water inside. Before you begin installing any vinyl overlays make sure your vehicle is cool to the touch - early morning before driving is a perfect time to apply our vinyls. You’ll first want to clean the surface by wiping the area with isopropyl alcohol, Once the surface is clean you are ready for install. Start spraying the adhesive side of the vinyl with a mist of water then position the overlay into place following the taillight lines. Using your finger or felt edge squeegee start from the center and push the air out from underneath the vinyl toward the edges, Minor trimming may be required so have an exacto knife handy. Lastly, remove any excess bubbles then leave your car in the sun for 30 minutes just to let everything settle. This entire process should take you no more than 15 minutes to complete.

For the Turn Signal portion of the install follow these instructions. CLEAN THE LIGHTS SURFACE OF ANY AND ALL DEBRIS. ONCE CLEAN AND DRY, MIST THE SURFACE WITH WATER OR PREMIUM SURFACE LUBE. POSITION THE FACE OVERLAY SO THAT THE OUTERMOST SIDE IS ALIGNED WITH THE EDGE OF THE LIGHT. ONCE POSITIONED TAKE YOUR FELT EDGE SQUEEGEE AND APPLY PRESSURE IN THE CENTER OF THE OVERLAY FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. YOU NOW HAVE YOUR OVERLAY HINGED AND YOU CAN WORK THE WATER OUTWARDS TO EACH SIDE. AFTER THE WATER IS REMOVED OPEN YOUR TRUNK AND TUCK THE EXCESS VINYL INTO THE INNER PART OF THE LIGHT AND THEN HEAT THE OVERLAY WITH YOUR HEAT GUN TO SECURE YOUR EDGES. THE SECONDARY PIECE IS POSITIONED SO THAT THE CORNER OF THE OVERLAY POINTING TOWARDS THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE IS FLUSH WITH THE LINE THAT MEETS THE UPPER RED PART OF THE TAILLIGHT. ONCE ALIGNED THE MAIN TRIANGLE CAN BE SQUEEGEED DOWN. THE OUTER ARMS OF THE OVERLAY SHOULD NOW BE SET IN PLACE ACROSS THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE LIGHT.

DO NOT INSTALL THE VINYL IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT OR IN HIGH TEMPERATURE AREA.

Difficulty Rating of 2 is used when you should expect installations that are easy, but have a few spots that you'll need to take extra care. (NOT TO HARD AT ALL REALLY)

Difficulty Rating of 3 is used for overlays that need just a little time and patience when installing. Extra care is required to help with alignment and getting the film to lay down correctly. (TAKE YOUR TIME YOU'LL BE FINE)
