This is a lovely pair of mid-century Japanese saltwater cultured akoya pearl, mother of pearl and sterling silver cufflinks by Sakata.

They feature highly lustrous pearls with bright pink rosy overtones. They measure 6.25mm and are round with even color.

They are stamped "STERLING SILVER". Original box is made of silk with a cloud/floral design. Good condition but a light stain on the outside top left of the box. This set is from the 1950's-1960's and the company is no longer in business. 

All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned. Very light pitting on back of cufflinks.
