Very Heavy Weight Polyurethane Hose for Severe Service Applications

The Flx-Thane VHD Clear is the heaviest hose in the Flx-Thane line — a .060" wall clear polyurethane construction reinforced with a bronze-coated spring steel wire helix. Built for severe service where lighter hoses would tear, crush, or wear through. Strong abrasion resistance, high tear strength, and excellent moisture and UV resistance. Available from 4" to 18" ID. Also available in black and translucent blue.

Where the Flx-Thane VHD Clear Fits

This hose is the right call for the most demanding material handling applications: grain vac operations, agricultural material transfer, municipal lawn and leaf collection, street and parking lot sweepers, concrete transport, lumber mill extraction, paper mill processing, wood dust collection, FDA granular transport, and food grade applications. If the job is chewing through standard-weight hose, this is the step up.

The VHD is the top of the weight ladder at .060". One step down is the Flx-Thane HD (heavy duty). For medium-weight applications, the Flx-Thane MD Clear saves weight and cost. The full Flx-Thane weight ladder runs from XLD (lightest) through LD, MD, HD, to VHD (heaviest).
