The eS4-Sport HPA shock absorber was specially developed and designed to meet the highest suspension requirements of sports and touring bikes, offering high performance and impressive reserves. The comfortable preload adjustment is carried out hydraulically.

The separate high- and low-speed compression adjustment allows fine-tuning of the shock absorber to your personal needs and requirements. In addition, the shock absorber offers the possibility to control the oil flow during the compression phase – i.e. when compressing: Two separate adjusters regulate the damping at low damper speed (slow bumps on the track/road) and at high damper speed (sudden bumps or potholes). The DDA damping valve and the extensive options for individual compression adjustment meet the highest demands of sports and touring riders. They noticeably increase comfort and safety.

For optimal, sensitive responsiveness, the oil channels are generously dimensioned to minimise oil flow resistance. At the same time, we use large-diameter pistons (46 mm pistons), as well as low-friction seals and special shim stacks. These measures ensure that the breakaway forces in the system are extremely low, resulting in correspondingly sensitive damping and responsiveness.These closed shock absorbers feature a space-saving external reservoir with separate damping oil and nitrogen. The forged reservoir is made of aluminium. The high-quality aluminium housing ensures maximum thermal stability through optimal heat dissipation. The generous oil volume and large cooling surface ensure a low, optimal operating temperature of the oil. This ensures thermal stability and performance at the highest level, as well as a longer service life for both the damper and the oil.

It is equipped with an additional top-out spring that optimises road contact during braking and noticeably improves riding stability, tracking and safety.
