It fully supports critical HDMI 2.0 features, including stunning 4K Ultra HD at 60Hz with rich 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. Experience expanded contrast and vibrant colour depth with full support for High Dynamic Range (HDR). Audio fidelity is equally paramount, with the cable supporting Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) functionality, capable of handling 32 audio channels and formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, delivering immersive, cinema-quality sound.

The proprietary connector design ensures a secure and reliable physical link. It incorporates gold-plated premium gauge folded steel shells and solid OFC copper pins with 15μ” 24K gold plating to prevent oxidation and ensure stable signal transmission. A nominal retention force of 9.9N (1kg or 2.2lbs) ensures the connector stays firmly in place, reducing call-backs due to accidental disconnections.

Conductor and Shielding System

The cable features Solid Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) primary conductors, ranging from 30AWG to 24AWG depending on the length, ensuring optimal signal delivery over distance. Signal integrity is safeguarded by multiple layers of shielding. The critical TMDS pairs feature 125% coverage of Al/Mylar shielding, and the overall cable incorporates 100% Al/Mylar shielding complemented by an Al-Mg alloy braid with a minimum of 85% coverage. This robust shielding package provides superior resistance to electromagnetic and radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI).

Patented Termination

Benchmark inter-terminal uniformity is ensured through Kordz’s patented high-frequency soldering techniques, which eliminate signal inconsistencies commonly found in conventionally terminated cables.
