Hand crafted  in a wide-striped apple green and white cotton, this sleeveless summer dress has the crisp elegance of a true heirloom piece. 

The round neckline and armholes are finished with a fine bias-cut piping in the same fabric. This subtle refined detail speaks of exceptional construction. Two small decorative side belts sit at the waist, framing the centrepiece of the dress: a hand-smocked waistband of extraordinary craftsmanship, hand-pleated in white cotton and worked in a rich green lattice stitch, each diamond of the trellis cradling a tiny hand-embroidered rosebud in the softest blush pink. The same delicate piping borders the smocked band above and below.

Self-covered buttons fasten neatly at the back. Below, the skirt falls in deep, full pleats, swaying with generous movement. A collector's piece as much as a child's dress.
