To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of its classic boot, Timberland assembled a team of Future Makers to reimagine its icon through their own lens of bold design innovation. Nina Chanel Abney is a Brooklyn-based artist best known for her bold and distinctive take on current day culture. Many of her designs begin with a gathering of photos and archival images from which she creates hand-drawn artwork that becomes graphics for knits or prints.
