Before Coach launched the Soho Collection, this bag was part of the Lightweights Collection. Eventually they dropped the Lightweights and carried on with the Sohos; this bag is from when it was still part of the Lightweights Collection, and based on the way the numbers are stamped, it dates to the late 80s. This color, Honey, was produced in 1989 at a time when Coach had as many Lightweight leathers as they did regular leathers! From a more practical standpoint, because the Soho leathers are lightweight, you don't get bogged down with the weight of the bag before you put all your goodies in it; so awesome. I have used mine as a business bag, an overnight bag, and I take it with me to put the dogs' stuff in when we road trip.

~CONDITION:

Very good vintage condition. There are no popped stitches or terrible stains, though there *may* have been a pen that got loose inside the bag-- which made washing it quite tricky, as well as a long pen mark on one side (see pics). I've gone ahead and given it the full refurbishing treatment: Bath, slowly dried it, polished the brass, and given it a deep conditioning; and this bag takes copious amounts of conditioner and time to do! It is now ready to head off on its next lifetime of adventures.
