This pretty 1970s Jeff Banks chiffon blouse is gorgeously feminine with some lovely details. The light chiffon has a floral pattern of pastel tones in ivory, soft green, ochre, rose pink and lilac. The generous cut of the fabric and batwing sleeves ensure a beautiful flow of movement as the piece falls over the body. Ornate irregular pleating features either side of the round neck collar so that the fabric falls flatteringly away from the breasts besides each arm. This pleating is echoed on the reverse beneath the seam of the western style yoke that sits across the shoulders. The central button stand hosts 7 small pearlescent flats and is embellished with pale Victorian-style lace trim in vertical lines parallel to the seam. This lace is used to trim the dainty cuffs with are gathered at each wrist to accentuate the volume of the sleeve. In wonderful condition, this piece has a timeless feel and can be appropriated easily as formal occasion wear or casual daywear. Would best suit size medium which equates to US size 6-8 or UK size 10-12. Our model's sizes are: Bust: 31" (80cm), Waist 25" (64cm), Hips: 34" (87cm) and 5' 4" (164cm) and she's a size UK 6, US 2. This blouse was roomy on her.
