This plug-and-play keyless entry kit adds modern keyless remote entry to your 1st Gen Toyota Tacoma. 

By using OEM connectors, our kit is super quick to install and offers a hassle free installation with absolutely no cutting, splicing or tampering with any of the original wiring harness. 

There is the choice of regular remotes, or modern style flip key remotes. Read the flip key information tab below for compatibility information of the flip key remotes .

Compatibility 

This kit comes in three versions depending on your year model. 

Early Models (Up to June 1997)
Middle Models (July 1997 to Dec 2000)
Late Models (Jan 2001 to End)

Year ranges given are approximates. Please check the compatibility chart in the product photos to easily visually identify your kit type based on your cars fuse panel type. 

Flip Key Information

Flip Key's are supplied with blank blades that can be duplicated to your original key. 

If your original key is a transponder key (meaning your car has a transponder security system), you will need to transfer the transponder chip from your original key into the flip key housing in order to use the flip key to start the car.
