Cartographer Polley, J. F. published this map in 1899 to illustrate the railroad line prior to "the highline" line in Central Montana. It denotes relief by hachures, drainage, township and county boundaries, military reservations, wagon roads, and railroads. It's also an excellent map of central Montana in the late 1800's.
